Steve Murphy for Hailsham market

Your local Champion Steve Murphy has stood up for Hailsham and its people at County Hall for the last 5 years as the County Councillor for Hailsham Market Division. In that time Steve has a proud record being at the forefront of projects that have enhanced the life of the town, such as: The Artists Bridge over the Cuckoo trail, once covered in mindless graffiti, is now a tourist attraction to visitors along the trail. The Percy Burton memorial, a lasting reminder to the bravery of a young pilot and the only park in the whole country dedicated to an individual airman killed in action during World War II. Steve says, "I've lived in Hailsham for over 40 years and I love it here. I'm passionate about getting a better deal for our town and local community. There is much to do and I will continue to work tirelessly to represent each of you, listen to your concerns and try my very best to get the right result for you. I will be your champion at County Hall and be a voice that will stand up for Hailsham."
