STAND AS A LIB DEM COUNCILLOR - OR VOLUNTEER TO HELP ELECT ONE!

Do you live and/ or work in Wealden and care about its future?

Ever thought you have new ideas which would help us all?

Is there something specific in your community that you would like to help fix?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, why not put yourself forward to stand as a Liberal Democrat councillor?

The next local elections (for District and Town councils) will be held this year on May 4, 2023, so now is the time to get started.

We currently have six Lib Dem Wealden District Councillors, making us the biggest opposition group to the ruling Conservatives. From combatting disastrous overdevelopment plans to helping small businesses and individuals during the Covid-19 pandemic to holding the water companies to account for sewage spills, our local councillors work tirelessly on behalf of local residents and make a real difference.

And the more Lib Dem councillors we have, the more effective we can be in helping our local community to be a fairer, greener and more prosperous place to live and work.
